Performance-Evaluation Index for Precision Poverty Alleviation in China’s Shaanxi Province

An effective and accurate poverty-alleviation system is necessary for eradicating poverty promoting regional economic social growth. Performance evaluation plays a key role in developing precise policy. However, systematic performance of efforts has been largely ignored the literature. This study sorts 10 major urban areas Shaanxi Province using count analysis method. The empirical findings show that among indexes, yield agricultural products greatest impact on alleviation. Furthermore, Xianyang, Weinan, Ankang relatively high. Xi’an Baoji are at middle level, those Tongchuan Yan’an low level. paper identifies alleviation status each area indicator level then offers corresponding proposes countermeasures.
